L’Esprit de Noël: A Celebration of Art, Dance, and Holiday Flowers
We were honored to be selected as a floral and tabletop designer for L’Esprit de Noël Holiday Home Tour, the premier holiday fundraiser for the Central City Opera taking place in late November. This year’s celebration offered a unique opportunity to blend artistry, tradition, and holiday cheer into one unforgettable experience centered around thoughtfully curated holiday flowers.
A Choreography of Tradition and Bloom
The harmonious floral and tabletop designs were inspired by the opera, the picturesque home, and the homeowners’ deep love of dance and artistry. Each design of holiday flowers was thoughtfully crafted and tells a story through movement, rhythm and texture, much like a choreographed performance.
The family’s Christmas tree and Menorah beautifully reflected the interfaith spirit of the home, honoring both traditions in a shared, harmonious space. Holiday flowers were designed to complement this meaningful display, enhancing the sense of unity and celebration and creating an inclusive spirit that sets the tone for the season. Thoughtfully arranged designs featured hand-calligraphed name cards by Willow Court Calligraphy, adding a personal and elegant touch that welcomed each guest and helped set an inclusive, festive tone for the season.
Tradition with a Modern Twist
The color palette draws on classic holiday hues while introducing a contemporary, personalized twist that complements the warm tones woven throughout this elegant residence. Anchored by traditional holiday flowers and accented with carefully curated decor, the palette creates a festive yet sophisticated floral story. Its warm, inviting tones echo the home’s elements and nature-inspired art, resulting in a cohesive and visually striking holiday celebration.
A Blooming Introduction to the Season
Grounded in tradition yet styled with modern sensibility, the outdoor florals embrace the winter season while feeling fresh and expressive. Lush greenery, sculptural branches, and holiday blooms intertwine to create depth and visual harmony, reflecting the home’s artistic spirit and connection to nature.
